The piece itself

Some pieces don't come with a crystal — and that's the whole point. It might be silk cord, hammered brass, freshwater pearl, vintage glass, hand-tied thread, a scatter of seed beads, or something else entirely. The material speaks for itself, and the meaning is whatever you make of it.
